In a separate incident, floor mats were stolen from a car being serviced.
POSSESSION OF CANNABIS
Christopher Packheiser, 31, of Highland Park, was arrested at 11 p.m. May 7 and charged with possession of cannabis and disorderly conduct after police investigated a report of a dispute that had occurred in the 500 block of Glenview Avenue. Packheiser was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 30.

Someone took two necklaces from a property bag sometime between April 30 and May 5. One necklace was described as an ornate cross with a gold chain, approx. 1 1/2" in size. The other necklace was described as a gold chain with a diamond pendant. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Park Avenue.
An Apple iPhone4s was stolen at an event in the 1900 block of Sheridan Road, Highland Park sometime between 3 and 11:45 p.m. May 8.

Two juveniles were arrested for the theft of two iPhones that were left unsecured inside a locker room at a school in the 900 block of North Avenue.
Someone stole a trek mountain bicycle with blue and white coloring from a garage in the 3000 block of Parkside Drive between 8 p.m. May 9 and 11 a.m. May 10
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
Someone stole the floor mats were from a vehicle that was serviced at a business in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road on May 6.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
Police are investigating a delayed report of a burglary to motor vehicle. On April 25, someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 200 block of Moraine Road and stole a Garmin GPS, several 12v charge cables and a key to an office.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Someone smashed a glass door of a residence in the 200 block of Cedar Avenue between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. May 9. A full suitcase was ransacked and jewelry was moved and gone through but nothing was reported missing.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Someone spray-painted a black pitch fork with words in black spray paint on the cement sewer which is located at the bottom of Edgecliff Road near the beach.
