Crowd Gathers to Support Highland Park Sexual Assault Victim
Students, mothers met outside Congress Theater on Monday night.
A crowd that included students and mothers gathered by Logan Square's Congress Theater on Monday night to show support for the student who was , both the Highland Park News and the Chicago Tribune report.
Police are still investigating the attack, which officers believe may have included as many as eight men, according to the Huffington Post.
“We are using all of our resources right now — everything we have — to get these criminals,” Chicago Police Cmdr. Linda Flores told the Highland Park News. “What they did was vicious.”

Meanwhile, the 18-year-old victim is home in Highland Park, recovering. Her father spoke to the Chicago Sun-Times last week.
"The only thing I want to say is my daughter is doing well," the father said.
