Deerfield Teen Arrested for Planting Video Camera in Restroom

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Disorderly Conduct

 

Samuel Rock, 18, of Deerfield was arrested Friday and charged with unauthorized video recording after an Ipod was observed by a patron hidden in a drop ceiling in a women’s restroom at Toys R Us, according to Highland Park Police reports. Rock was transported to Lake County Criminal Court for a bond hearing and a further court date is pending. The investigation is continuing.

DUI

Katherine Daum, 28, of Highland Park was arrested Friday and charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license and disobeying a stop sign after being stopped by police in the 1600 block of Sunnyside Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan 25 in Waukegan.

Driver’s License Infractions and More

Mario Gonzalez-Diaz, 38, of Park City was arrested Thursday and charged with driving while license suspended and disobeying a traffic control device after being stopped by police in the 1300 block of Half Day Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Criminal Court Jan. 22 in Park City.
