Driver Strikes Pole, Leads to DUI Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Justino Lopez, 39, of Highland Park was arrested Dec. 10 and charged with driving under the influence, driving while license revoked for DUI, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle, aggravated DUI third violation, aggravated DUI revoked for DUI and aggravated DUI no insurance after police responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck a parked car in the 700 block of Park Avenue West, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was transported to bond court in Waukegan.

David Robles, 26, of Highland Park was arrested Thursday and charged with driving while license revoked, uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage after police responded to a report of vehicle that had spun out on the ramp near the intersection of Clavey Road and Skokie Valley Road,  according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan. 8 in Park City.

Hector Sanchez, 33, of Chicago was arrested Saturday and charged with driving while license revoked and obstructed registration after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan. 22 in Park City.
