Four Hospitalized from Carbon Monoxide Fumes

Source of fumes remains unknown.

Four people ended up hospitalized Monday afternoon as a result of carbon monoxide fumes in a Highwood building, reports Triblocal.

The building houses a dentist office and an apartment. A 911 call placed at around 12:30 p.m. reported that someone in the dentist's office was experiencing chest pains. The dentist, someone else from the office and a married couple who live on the second floor of the building were taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Des Plaines, and Lake Forest Hospital, according to Triblocal.
