Highland Park Man Arrested After Threatening to Kill Children, Self

39-year-old charged with disorderly conduct.

Police charged a Highland Park man with disorderly conduct after he told someone he would get a gun and shoot his deceased life partner's children and then himself, Triblocal reports

The 39-year-old, who lives on the 700 block of Llewellyn Avenue, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. on May 12 in the 500 block of Sheridan Road. According to Triblocal, the man caused a breech of peace by making the threatening statement and "a shooting gun gesture with his finger."
