Highland Park Man Charged With Battery

(Removed), 39, of Highland Park was arrested Thursday and charged with battery after police responded to a call of a dispute in the 400 block of Broadview Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Dec. 6 in Waukegan.

Retail Theft

Police are investigating a report of a retail theft on Oct. 30, according to Highland Park Police reports. An unknown person placed merchandise including Bose speakers, Beats headphones and other speaker related items into a shopping cart, walked past all last points of purchase and exited the store. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road.

Driver’s License Infractions and More

Pedro Sotelo-O’Campo, 43 of Berwyn was arrested Oct. 29 and charged with driving while license suspended and fail to reduce speed to avoid an accident after police responded to a two car accident in the 1700 block of Second Street, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Dec. 6 in Waukegan.
