Holiday Weekend Nets 7 DUI Arrests in Highland Park

Timothy Friedman, 38, of the 600 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue in Prospect Heights, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and no valid drivers license after police responded to a report of a subject slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 12:15 a.m. July 3. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Aug. 1 court date.

Tanya Broadway, 47, of the 300 block of S. Harper in Glenwood, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol after departing Ravinia Festival at 2 a.m. July 3. Broadway was released on a personal recognizance bond with a July 25 court date.

Jason Razdik, 28, of the 7300 block of 28th Avenue in Kenosha, WI, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, unlawful possession of hypodermic needles, improper lane usage, driving while license suspended and suspended registration after being stopped by police in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road at 3:30 a.m. July 4. Razdik was also found to be wanted by Lake County Sheriff on a failure to appear warrant for retail theft.

While in custody, Razdik was later charged with bringing a controlled substance into a penal institution, possession of controlled substance and resisting and obstructing a peace officer. He was transported to bond court.

Terry Boutte, 39, of the 4500 block of N. 75th Street in Milwaukee, WI, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving while license revoked for DUI, driving without headlights illuminated after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 1 a.m. July 5. Boutte was transported to bond court.

Jon Legue, 42, of the 1200 block of William Street in Racine, WI, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, disobeying a red light, improper turn and failure to signal after being stopped by police in the 100 block of the Edens at 12:30 a.m. July 6. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Aug. 8 court date.

Jovanny Diaz-Gantes, 29, of the 600 block of Homewood Avenue in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, driving while license suspended and no rear registration lamp illuminated after being stopped by police near Laurel Avenue and St. Johns Avenueat 3 a.m. July 6. Diaz-Gantes was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Aug. 8 court date.

Henderson Lewis, 65, of the 17400 block of W. Chestnut Lane in Gurnee, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 1800 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4:30 a.m. July 6. Lewis was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Aug. 8 court date.
