iPhones, iPads Stolen in Highland Park

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

July 15: Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that an Ipad was taken after being left unattended while at the Starbucks in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.

July 17: Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that a push style leaf blower left unattended during a lunch break was stolen from the 2000 block of St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park.

July 17: Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that a 15 inch rim and tire were removed from a courtesy vehicle sometime over night. A damaged wheel and tire were placed back on the vehicle so the suspect could remove the jack used to lift the car. The incident occurred in the 2300 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.

July 18: Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported between 4:20 PM and 6:10 PM an IPhone 5 32G was taken by an unknown person from an unattended gym bag located in the basketball gym at a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.

July 18: Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that an Iphone 5 placed in an unlocked locker at a business in the 1200 block of Fredricksons Place was stolen.

July 18: Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that an Iphone 5 and cash placed in an unlocked locker at a business in the 1200 block of Fredricksons Place was stolen.

July 18: Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that an Iphone 4s placed in an unlocked locker at a business in the 1200 block of Fredricksons Place was stolen.

July 18: Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that an Iphone 5 placed in an unlocked locker at a business in the 1200 block of Fredricksons Place was stolen.

Burglary from motor vehicle

July 15: It was reported that between the hours of 1:45 PM and 4:00 PM an unknown subject entered an unlocked 2012 Jeep Cherokee and removed a white "paper material purse" with blue and red flowers and birds on it from the passenger side floor. No forced entry on the vehicle. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Park Avenue West.

July 15: It was reported an unlocked Toyota Camry was entered while parked in the LA Fitness parking lot in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road. Taken was cash, 2 credit cards, a drivers license, ID card and an I-Phone 4 cell phone.

Retail theft

July 16: Police investigated a delayed report of an unknown subject who stole a black Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone, from a display in a store located in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at approximately 1:55pm.
