License Suspended for Chiropractor Accused of Sex Assault

The Highland Park practitioner faces charges of inappropriately touching a client from Lake Forest.

The state of Illinois has suspended the license of the Highland Park chiropractor facing charges of sexual assault and sexual abuse for inappropriately touching a female client, according to an article in the Lake County News-Sun.

Kevin G. Dutton, 38, of the 800 block of North Rockwell Street in Chicago, has been charged with one count of criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, both felonies, according to the Highland Park Police Department. The alleged incident occurred at Wellness Circle on Central Avenue, where Dutton works as an independent contractor, police said.

The petition for suspension details the alleged offense, saying Dutton lifted the woman’s underwear, slid his hand under and digitally penetrated her vagina, the News-Sun article says. The petition also says that he admitted to police that he did this.
