Man Arrested for Endangering Child, DUI

DUI
Sheldon Bell, 44, of Zion was arrested Sept. 2 for aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence, aggravated driving with a license revoked for DUI, driving with a revoked license, endangering the life of a child and improper lane usage after being stopped in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. Police transported Bell to Lake County Court for a bond hearing.

Police are investigating a report of a theft where an unknown person stole a men’s red Giant bicycle between 2 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. August 29 near the Braeside train station.

Lynetta Christopher, 28, of Chicago was arrested Sept. 1 for driving while license suspended driving an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court Oct. 9 in Park City.
