Multiple Graffiti Incidents in Highland Park

A license plate registration sticker also went missing in the latest Highland Park police blotter.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Graffiti was discovered spray painted on the side of a building in the 2100 block of Green Bay Road on April 16. The symbols were approximately 3 feet tall and 1.5 feet wide.

Graffiti was discovered spray painted on the east side of the Deerfield Road overpass in the 1500 block of Skokie Valley Road on April 18. The graffiti did not appear to be gang related.

Additional spray painted graffiti was located on the exterior west end of a building in the 2100 Green Bay Road. The graffiti was done on April 17 at 8:30 p.m.

Graffiti was located on the back wall of a business located in the 500 block of Elm Place on April 19. The graffiti depicted symbols and other indistinguishable designs in black spray paint

Black and grey spray painted graffiti was discovered on the northwest side of a building in the 400 block of Vine Avenue on April 20 that included possible music symbols and words. The incident occurred sometime over the weekend.

THEFT

Unknown person(s) peeled off a license plate registration sticker on an unknown date and location.

RETAIL THEFT

An unknown subject shoplifted a Blue Tooth ear device from shelf and left the business located in the 600 block of Elm Place without paying on April 17 at 2:30 p.m.
