Musical Instruments Stolen from Highland Park Apartment

Driving while license revoked.

Lawrence Quinn, Jr. (42) of the 39000 block of Torry Lane, Beach Park was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2500 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Quinn, Jr. was released on a cash bond with a court date of March 27, 2013 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City, Illinois.

Theft under $300

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that an unknown person removed a gym bag from an unsecured locker. Inside gym bag was a drivers license, credit cards and a set of keys. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.

Theft over $300

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that several musical items were taken from an apartment after the door was left unsecured. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Temple Avenue, Highland Park. 

Theft under $500 

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that on March 8 an iPhone and cash were taken from a backpack in the 400 block of Vine Avenue, Highland Park. 

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that on Friday, March 8, 2013 an iPhone and two other cell phones were taken from the 400 block of Vine Avenue, Highland Park. The incident occurred approximately between 11:15 AM and 11:45 AM.

Driving under the influence

Shawn Tait (37) of the 2400 block of West Long Shadow Trail, Phoenix, Arizona was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding after being stopped by police near Central Avenue and Beverly Place, Highland Park. Tait was released on a cash bond with a court date of April 12, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois. 

Emanuel Delgado-Hererra (32) of the 6000 block of Ridge Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, driving while license suspended, open transportation of alcohol and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police who responded to a driving complaint near Park Avenue West and Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Delgado-Herrera was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 5, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois. 

Possession of cannabis

Benjamin A. Zaragoza (19) of the 300 block of High Plaines Road, Round Lake, Illinois was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after the vehicle in which he was a passenger was stopped by the police in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Zaragoza was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 10, 2013 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City, Illinois. 

Burglary to motor vehicle

Police are investigating a report of a burglary to motor vehicle. It was reported that a school bag, a gym bag (containing clothes and headphones), and wallet (containing cash and credit cards) were stolen from an unlocked Audi on 03/08/2013 between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm while parked in an alley off Central Ct. in the 400 block of Laurel Avenue, Highland Park. 

Aggravated driving under the influence

Angel Palmerin (22) of the 1700 block of McGovern Street, Highland Park was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence while revoked for DUI (Class 4); felony revoked (Class 4); aggravated driving under the influence with two priors, and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 2500 block of Green Bay Road, Highland Park. Palmerin was transported to Bond Court and has an In-State Cook County Warrant. Court date to be set by Judge.
