Four Steal 32 Coats From Erehwon, Flee to Highland Park

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bannockburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Three Chicago women and a Chicago man were arrested Friday for burglary and retail theft for grabbing 32 coats from Erehwon in Bannockburn and fleeing to Highland Park, according to Bannockburn Police reports

Sherae Berry, 19, Dora Powell, 17, and Leemanuel Burrell, 23, were charged with burglary, a Class 2 Felony, and theft, a Class 3 Felony. Christine Dukes, 22, was arrested on those two counts as well as obstructing justice, a Class 4 Felony.

Berry, Powell and Dukes entered the store, collected the coats in their arms in what Bannockburn Police Chief Ron Price described as a “grab and go” and fled in a waiting vehicle driven by Burrell. They fled east on Half Day Road and were stopped on Marl Oak Drive in Highland Park.
