Police Arrest Deerfield Man for Cell Phone Theft

Steven Brody, 53, of Deerfield was arrested Dec. 12 and charged with theft under $500 after police investigated a report of a cell phone theft from a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Jan. 6 in Waukegan.
Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported a business in the 1300 block of Half Day Road rented a wood chipper, stump grinder, cherry picker lift, and trailer on Dec. 5 and the items were not returned on the scheduled day. Attempts to locate the renter have been unsuccessful, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Driver’s License Infractions and More
Rosa Albarran-Tinoco, 34, of Bolingbrook was arrested Dec. 14 and charged with driving while license suspended, no valid drivers license and disobeying a stop sign after being stopped by police in the 400 block of Central Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Jan. 22 in Park City.
