Police Arrest Gas Station Robber
The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Leroy Regan, 38, of Grayslake was arrested August 20 for armed robbery for the August 12 hold up of a Highland Park gas station in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to a news release from the Waukegan Police Department.
In addition to the Highland Park arrest, Regan was charged with the armed robbery of gas stations or convenience stores in Waukegan, North Chicago, Wilmette and northern unincorporated Lake County, according to the release.
In addition to seven armed robberies, Regan is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and one count of being a habitual criminal, according to the release.
