Police Arrest Man for Identity Theft

Unlwful Use of Credit Cards/Identity Theft

Darren Jenkins, 25, of Chicago was arrested Nov. 19 and charged with unlawful use of credit card, theft and 2 counts of identity theft after police investigated a theft of a wallet report from the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road. Jenkins was transported to bond court in Waukegan pending court date, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft made Nov. 22. It was reported that 25-27 pills of Concerta were missing from a lock box at a residence in the 900 block of Central Avenue sometime between Nov. 20 reporting date, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Criminal Damage to Property

Police are investigating a report of a criminal damage to property. It was reported that between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Nov. 23unknown person(s) threw eggs at a parked Red Chevy Corvette in rear lot located in the 700 block of Laurel Avenue.

Driver’s License Infractions and More

Triveon Scott, 35, of Kenosha, WI, was arrested Nov. 24 and charged with driving while license suspended and no valid registration after being stopped by police in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Dec. 18 in Park City.
