Police Arrest Man for Internet Solicitation of Child

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park and Deerfield Police Departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Indecent Solicitation of a Child 

Christopher Richko, 25, of Des Plaines was arrested Friday in the 100 block of Central Avenue and charged with indecent solicitation of a child and solicitation to meet a child after an online investigation by police. Richko was transported to bond court pending court date, according to Highland Park Police reports

DUI

Richard Villasona, 23 of Highwood was arrested Sept. 30 and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, uninsured motor vehicle and no rear registration lamp illuminated after being stopped by police near the intersection of Onwentsia Avenue and Green Bay Road, according to Highland Park Police reports.  Villasona was released on a personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 1 in Waukegan.

Theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. On Sept. 27 at approximately 5:30 p.m. a Hyundai Sonata was cleaned at a business in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road. Reported missing from the front cup holder was a gold Ginette Mini Infinity necklace after cleaning, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Driver’s License Infractions and More 

Irma Ruiz, 31, of Waukegan was arrested Sept. 30 and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2500 block of Skokie Valley Road.  Ruiz was released on a personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 13 in Park City.
