Police Arrest Underage Driver for DUI
The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park and Deerfield Police Departments. It does not indicate a conviction.
DUI
Marco Brito, 20, of Waukegan was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and speeding after being stopped by police near Parkside Drive and Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court Nov. 15 in Waukegan.
Theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. A Chevrolet Cavalier was parked in the back of parking lot in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at approximately 2 p.m. Oct. 10. The exhaust was observed to be hanging at 7:30 p.m. and the catalytic converter was found missing, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Yolanda Alberto-Barragan, 35, of Highland Park was arrested Sunday and charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane usage after being stopped by police near the intersection of Beverly Place and Central Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake Court Nov. 13 in Park City.
