Man Cited for Throwing Underage Party

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Possession of cannabis

Seth Pakula, 23, of the 1200 block of Manchester Road, Mundelein, Illinois, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, unlawful delivery of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to signal lane change  after being stopped by police near the intersection of Deerfield Road and Green Bay Road, Highland Park. Pakula was released on a cash bond with a court date of July 9, 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Consumption of alcohol by minor

Daniel Tristano, 18, of the 1600 Block of Long Meadow, Glenview, Evan Jakubowicz, 18, of the 300 block of Lennquist, Mt. Prospect, Amber Gilgenbach, 18, of the 4000 block of Linden, Glenview, Kristen Ryan, 18, of the 1300 block of Sleepy Hollow, Glenview and Michael Bisioulis, 18, of the 1900 block of North Avenue, Glenview, were cited with consumption of alcohol by minor after police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 3300 block of Patten Road, Highland Park. The subjects were released and are expected in Administrative Court at City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park on June 21, 2012.

Aggravated driving under the influence

Nicholas Jeannides, 35, of the 1800 block of Milburne Road, Lake Forest, Illinois, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, improper lane usage, speeding, aggravated driving while license suspended, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped by police in the 1100 block of Central Avenue, Highland Park. Jeannides was transported to bond court at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois pending court date. 

Yolanda McCray, 27, of the 2400 block of Dugdale Road, Waukegan, Illinois, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, aggravated driving under the influence with passenger under 16 years of age, driving while license suspended, driving without lights when required and obstructing identification after being stopped by police in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. McCray was transported to bond court at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois pending court date. 

Theft of lost property

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that a wallet was taken from a counter at a business in the 0-40 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. The wallet was described as a black, thin wallet containing credit cards and cash. 

Driving under the influence

Harriet Menachem, 57, of the 1700 block of Winthrop Road, Highland Park, Illinois, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1500 block of Clavey Road, Highland Park. Menachem was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of July 13, 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Rafael Guadarrama, 22, of the 800 block of Victory, Waukegan, Illinois, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis  and improper lane usage after being stopped by police near the intersection of Bloom Street and Waukegan Avenue, Highland Park. Guadarrama was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of July 13, 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Michelle Waldron, 40, of the 3300 block of Beacon Street, North Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, expired registration and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Waldron was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of July 20 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Criminal damage to property

Alexander Heddle, 19, of the 1100 block of Longmeadow Lane, Lake Forest, Michael Ryske, 18, of the 800 block of Longwood Drive, Lake Forest, Chad Miller, 18, of the 800 block of Gage Lane, Lake Forest and a Female Juvenile, were arrested and charged with criminal trespass to property after police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 2200 block of Grange Avenue, Highland Park. Miller was also charged with criminal damage to property. The subjects were found to have entered property in the 1600 block of Park Avenue West removing coax cable, ceramic tiles and golf clubs from the property. Heddle, Ryske and Miller released on a personal recognizance bonds with court dates of June 22, 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Police are investigating a report of a burglary to motorv vehicle.  It was reported that an unknown person caused damage to a five foot piece of wooden fencing, 1 decorative sign and 1 piece of artwork.  All damage appears to be done by the throwing of rocks. The incident occurred near the intersection of Lyster Road and Westover Road, Highland Park, IL. 

Theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that unknown person(s) removed 3 Shure MX412 Microflex Microphones from the worship area of a church sometime between May 21, 2012 at 9 a.m. and May 25, 2012 at 9 a.m. in the 400 block of Laurel Avenue, Highland Park, IL.

Police are investigating a theft of a bicycle. It was reported that unknown person(s) removed a blue and gray Schwinn Mountain bike with 21 speeds which was left unsecured outside of a business in the 600 block of Elm Place, Highland Park, IL.

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that unknown person(s) removed a silver Macbook laptop which was left unattended inside a business in the 400 block of Laurel Avenue, Highland Park, IL.

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that a purse was left unattended on a chair and a wallet was subsequently stolen. The wallet contained credit cards. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Fredricksons Place, Highland Park, Illinois.

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that 4 Wood Chipper batteries and 8 bags of empty aluminum cans were taken from a rear lot in the 1500 block of Old Skokie Road, Highland Park. The items were taken sometime between June 7, 2012 at 6:00 pm to June 8, 2012 at 12:00 pm.

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that a red leather wallet was taken from a purse while it was in a shopping cart at a business in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road, Highland Park. The wallet contained cash, Illinois identification along with a credit card that was reported as being used 3 times unlawfully. 

Disorderly conduct

Matthew Evans, 22, of the 500 block of Sumac Road, Highland Park, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after making alarming and disturbing statements while standing in open Administrative Court at 1707 St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park. Evans was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 27, 2012 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Activity constituting a public nuisance

Dareak Zdarowski, 41, of the 900 block of Central Avenue, Highland Park, was cited for activity constituting a public nuisance (hosting an underage party). Nina Muzik, 19, of the 1900 block of Richfield Avenue, Highland Park, Jordan Newman, 18, of the 400 block of Naida Terrace, Highland Park, Mollie Thiriot of the 800 block of Holmes Avenue, Deerfield, Samantha Stillwell of the 700 block of Judson Avenue, Highland Park, Aristidis Leumis, 19, of the 1600 block of Grand Avenue, Chicago, Julia Cohn, 19, of the 1000 block of Ridgewood Drive, Highland Park, Magdalena Symonds, 19, of the 14400 block of Oak, Lake Forest, William Steinman, 18, of the 1200 block of Sherman, Evanston and Jordan Lewis, 19, of the 1900 block of Potomac Court, Wheeling were all cited with consumption of alcohol by minor after police responded to a complaint of a loud party in the area of Central Avenue and Sunset Road, Highland Park. The subjects were released and are expected in Administrative Court at City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park on July 5, 2012.
