Police Blotter: Cannabis Possession; Stolen Golf Clubs

Also stolen soccer gear in Wednesday's police report.

The following items are taken from the Highland Park Police Department. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Police are investigating the reported theft of golf clubs, a travel case and shoes during the past year in the 300 block of Woodland Road, Highland Park.

Police are investigating the reported theft of a soccer goal net and frame between 7 p.m. Aug. 13 and 11 a.m. Aug. 14 in the 1600 block of Eastwood Avenue, Highland Park.

Marcia L. Kamm, 57, of the 1200 block of Park Avenue in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with retail theft in the 600 block of Elm Place, Highland Park. She was released on bond, and has a court date of Sept. 15.

Police are investigating Aug. 15 the report of an iPhone theft in the 700 block of Park Avenue West, Highland Park.

Brandon Kay, 18, of the 1400 block of Forest Avenue in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis. He and Scott Saltzman, 18, were also charged with possession of alcohol by minor. They were arrested after police were called to the 1700 block of Eastwood Avenue, Highland Park. Kay and Saltzman have court hearings in September.
