Police Blotter: Cannabis Possession; Stolen Spare Tire

Also stolen jewelry, purse and keys in Tuesday's police report.

The following items are taken from the Highland Park Police Department. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia

Brian J. Blair, 18, of the 500 block of Edens Lane in Northfield, was arrested and charged with speeding, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of Edens Expressway, Highland Park.  He was released on bond with a court date of September 23.

Theft

Police are investigating the delayed report of a theft (spare tire) sometime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on August 8 in the 2500 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.

Barbara D. Kenzer, 58, of the 100 block of Copperwood Drive in Buffalo Grove, was arrested and charged with theft in the 100 block of Hemlock Lane, Highland Park.  She was transported to bond court.

Police are investigating the report of a theft (landscaping rocks) in the 700 block of Red Oak Lane, Highland Park.

Police are investigating the report of a theft (jewelry) on August 12 in the 2000 block of Green Bay Road, Highland Park.

Police are investigating the report of a theft (cooler, purses, keys, money backpack) on August 13 in the 200 block of St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park.
