Police Blotter: Fake ID; Domestic Battery

Also underage drinking in Thursday's police report.

The Highland Park Police Department provided the following reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Attempted liquor buy with fake ID

David Ofer, 18, of the 1700 block of Sundrop Circle, was cited by police after he tried to purchase liquor with a fictitious identification. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Deerfield Road. His hearing date is June 16.

Consumption of alcohol by a minor

Anthony Quall, 19, of the 400 block of East Westleigh in Lake Forest, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol after police were called to the 700 block of St. Johns Avenue in Highland Park in regards to a report of suspicious activity. His hearing date is July 7.

Driving under the influence

Jorge Gonzalez-Harrison, 29, of the 800 block of Euclid Court in Highwood, was arrested and charged with several traffic violations, including driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and improper lane usage. He was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol and obstructing police after his vehicle was stopped in the 1700 block of McGovern Street.

Norman A. Levy, 45, of the 1700 block of Seton Road in Northbrook, was arrested and charged with improper lane usage, speeding and driving under the influence after police stopped his vehicle at Lake Cook and Skokie Valley roads. His  court date is June 17.

Domestic battery

Jason Jeffrey Rosengarden, 33, of the 400 block of Laurel Avenue, was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 400 block of Laurel Avenue.
