Police Blotter: Sexual Assault

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported an unknown subject siphoned approximately 10 gallons of gas from a parked vehicle and damaged two garden hoses sometime between April 27 at 3 p.m. and April 30 at 5:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Half Day Road, Highland Park.

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported a book from a stamp collection missing in the 1100 block of Half Day Road, Highland Park. 

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported three brown Amazon boxes containing CDs, DVDs and a CD case holder were taken after being delivered to a residence in the 700 block of Judson Avenue, Highland Park.

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that a metal outdoor table was taken from the patio area sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on May 6 in the 600 block of Central Avenue, Highland Park. 

Aggravated criminal sexual assault

Highland Park Police received a 911 cellular call in which Telecommunications personnel were able to ascertain that a female in the background was in distress. The source of the 911 call was identified and police personnel were dispatched to the area from which the cellular call originated. Upon a search of the area, officers located an occupied vehicle in an alley behind the 1900 block of Linden Avenue and interrupted an assault that was in progress. Allan Quiambao, 28, of the 5900 block of North Clark Street, Chicago, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Quiambao was transported to bond court at 18 North County Street, Waukegan. On Tuesday, May 1, a bond hearing was held at the Lake County Courthouse where bond was set at $250,000 and he was remanded to the Lake County Jail. Quiamboa was ordered to have no contact with the victim and assigned to pre-trial services. His next court date is May 21, 2012.  

Driving under the influence

Anne Bowker, 56, of the 1600 block of Northland Avenue, Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and a stop sign violation after being stopped by police near the intersection of Arbor Avenue and Berkeley Road, Highland Park. Bowker was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 1, 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Allison Sheridan, 24, of the 1400 block of Ridge Road, Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after being stopped by police in the 400 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Sheridan was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 25, 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Alejandro Sanchez Jr., 27, of the 700 block of Deerfield Road, Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Sanchez was released on a cash bond with a court date of June 1, 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Police are investigating a report of a burglary to motor vehicle. It was reported that unknown subjects entered a vehicle through an unsecured rear cargo door and removed an Alpine car stereo from dashboard of car. The incident occurred in the 600 block of LaSalle Place, Highland Park.

Disorderly conduct

Bernard Grandberry, 42, of the 600 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Waukegan, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of a suspicious activity in the 400 block of St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park. Grandberry was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 13, 2012 at 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.
