Police Blotter: Stolen iPhone, Damaged Fence

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

Police are investigating the report of a theft (white iPhone 4G with silver case). The incident occurred in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. 

Police are investigating the report of a found property/theft (multi-colored purse). The purse was located on the ground with approximately $15 cash taken. The purse was noticed missing on Feb. 7 at approximately 3 p.m. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Yale Lane, Highland Park.

Driving while license suspended

Rosemary Kennett, 54, of the 100 block of Highwood Avenue, Highwood, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended after being located by police on routine patrol in the 2800 block of South Overlook Drive, Highland Park. Kennett was released on bond with a court date of Feb. 22 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City, Illinois.

Javier Cano-Osio, 30, of the 200 block of Evolution Avenue, Highwood, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, suspended registration, uninsured motor vehicle and texting while driving after being stopped by police near the intersection of Half Day Road and Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Cano-Osio was released on bond with a court date of March 28.

Camille Gard, 34, of the 92200 block of Mariner Drive, Sister Lakes, MI was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and expired registration after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Gard was released on bond with a court date of March 28.

Dorsey Christian III, 36, of the 3500 block of Atlantic Avenue, Gurnee, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, speeding and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 2100 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Christian was released on bond with a court date of March 14.

Roberto Torres-Noriega, 25, of the 3000 block of North Allen Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Christian was released on bond with a court date of March 28.

Consumption of alcohol by minor

Sergio Saldana, 20, of the 300 block of Temple Avenue, Highland Park, was cited with consumption of alcohol by minor after being located by police on routine patrol walking with a Juvenile subject near the intersection of Green Bay Road and Onwentsia Avenue, Highland Park. Saldana was issued an administrative citation with a court date of March 15.

Driving under the influence

Jaclyn Kane, 22, of the 1800 block of Lawrence Lane, Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and no registration light after being stopped by police near the intersection of Clavey Road and Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Kane was released on a bond with a court date of March 23, 2012 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois. Passenger Nicholas Belmont, 25, of the 400 block of Broadview Avenue, Highland Park was charged with interference with public officers. Belmont was released on bond with a court date of March 28.

Commercial burglary

Police are investigating a delayed report of a commercial burglary where a Caterpillar Bobcat construction machine was taken from behind a locked gate. The incident occurred between Jan. 27 and Jan. 28 in the 1800 block of Old Skokie Road, Highland Park.  

Criminal damage to property

Police are investigating the report of a criminal damage to property. It was reported that an unknown vehicle struck an antique fence and ran over landscape rocks and grass causing damage sometime between Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 11 at 9:17 a.m.  The incident occurred in the 100 block of Sycamore Place, Highland Park.
