Driving while license suspended
Tianna Koschalk-Smith, 34, of the 2100 block of Ezekiel, Zion, was arrested and charged with failure to yield right of way, failure to properly secure child under 8 in appropriate child restraint system; driving while license suspended, obstructing identification and failure to carry and exhibit driver’s license after being stopped by the police in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road, Highland Park. She was released on bond with a court date of July 13.

Eduardo Santiago Cortes, 23, of the 400 block of Green Bay Road in Highwood, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, operating uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after being stopped by the police in the 1000 block of Park Avenue, Highland Park. He was released on bond with a court date of July 13.
Jessamine A. Hightower, 22, of the 2100 block of Lorraine Avenue in Waukegan, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, improper lane usage and interference of public officer after being stopped by the police in the 3000 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. She was released on bond with a Court date of July 27.

Humberto Sanchez, 27, of the 6000 block of North Damen in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and failure to yield after being stopped by the police in the 2200 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. He was released on bond with a court date of June 27.
Driving under the influence
Mark W. Taussig, 43, of the 800 block of Fairview Road in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and cell phone restrictions (local) after being stopped by the police at Forest Avenue and Sheridan Road, Highland Park. He was released on bond with a court date of July 1.
Jamie L. Melin, 38, of the 600 block of Old Elm Road in Lake Forest, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after being stopped by the police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. She was released on bond with a court date of July 8.
Alex R. Spencer, 22, of the 500 block of Lakehurst in Waukegan, was arrested and charged with driving under the Influence and tires after being stopped by the police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. He was released on bond with a court date of July 8.
Criminal damage
Police are investigating the criminal damage (walls) in the 1700 block of St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the criminal damage (interior door, fluorescent bulbs) sometime between June 6 at 7 p.m. and June 8 at 11 a.m. in the 1700 block of St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park.
Battery
Police are investigating a battery in the 1200 block of Park Avenue West, Highland Park.
Burglary
Police are investigating the burglary from motor vehicle (medicine) in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the burglary (jewelry) sometime between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the 2200 block of Sheridan Road, Highland Park.
