Police Find Gang Graffiti in Highland Park
The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Criminal Damage to Property
An officer on routine patrol Sept. 23 located a three-point crown spray painted in copper color measuring approximately 5" x 6" on a Com Ed metal pole on the bike path South of Park Avenue West. A second location of gang graffiti painted in gray spray paint measuring approximately 19’ x 8’ was located near the Berkeley Road walking path on the asphalt of the bike trail, according to Highland Park Police reports.
Possession of Cannabis

Jordan Lake, 29, of Wauconda was arrested Sept. 25 and charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid drivers’ license, obstructing identification and speeding after being stopped by police near the intersection of Ridge Road and Partridge Lane, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Oct. 21 in Waukegan.
Theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. On Sept. 23 at approximately 7:40 p.m., an unknown male and female shopper exited a store without paying for (11) cans of baby formula. The male had the items in a shopping basket and lifted the basket above the sensor when exiting. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Clavey Road.
Driver’s License Infractions and More
Floyd Lee, 43 of Milwaukee was arrested Sept. 25 and charged with driving while license suspended and disobeying a traffic control device after being stopped by police in the 2900 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 13 in Park City.
