Police Find Highland Park Homicide Victim's Car

Police have found the car that Colin Nutter was driving the night the Highland Park resident died of a gunshot to the head.

Police have found the car that Colin Nutter was driving the night the Highland Park resident was killed.

Nutter, a 20-year-old Highland Park resident who was found dead in bushes on Frontage Road in Wilmette on Monday, died of a gunshot wound to the back of the head, according to the Highland Park Police Department.

The vehicle Nutter was driving the night of the homicide was previously missing. The car has since been found and is in custody of the Wilmette Police Department. The Wilmette and Highland Park Police Departments were previously asking for the public's help in locating the vehicle Nutter was driving the night of the homicide. 

Nutter's body was found by a 16-year-old dog walker near the intersection of Old Glenview Rd. and Briar Dr. on Monday night. Nutter's body was identified through his fingerprints.
