Police Make DUI Arrest Near Library

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI 

Francisco Gonzalez-Mancilla, 35, of Northfield was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and no valid driver’s license after being stopped by police in the 400 block of Laurel Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports.  Gonzalez-Mancilla was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 8 in Waukegan.

Criminal Damage to Property

Police are investigating a delayed report made Sept. 23 of criminal damage to property. Unknown person(s) damaged pvc pipe and an air conditioning units' wiring had been pulled from the silver boxes attached to the residence on the north side. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Tennyson Lane, according to Highland Park Police reports

Theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft of a White Samsung Galaxy S4 Cell phone in a black case from an unlocked office sometime on Sept. 20, according to Highland Park Police reports. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Park Avenue West.

Driver’s License Infractions and More 

Matthew Heller, 25, of Park Ridge was arrested Sept. 25 and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration after being stopped by police in the 400 block of Vine Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 13 in Park City.
