Police Make Six DUI Arrests in Five Days

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Robert Blocker, 29 of Gurnee was arrested Monday and charged with Speeding, driving under the influence, aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license revoked for prior DUI Conviction, driving While License revoked, open transportation of alcohol and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 2500 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was transported to bond court and a further hearing date is pending.

Andrew Hunt, 51, of Lake Forest was arrested Thursday and charged with driving under the influence, uninsured motor vehicle and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 8 in Waukegan.

Mario Arista, 33, of Waukegan was arrested Friday and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after police responded to a driving complaint in the 400 block of Skokie Valley Road.  Arista was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. 8 in Waukegan.

Nathaniel Schneider, 25, of Skokie was arrested Saturday and charged with driving under the influence, uninsured motor vehicle and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road.  Schneider was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. 22 in Waukegan.

Alan Podgorny, 53, of Chicago was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, no valid registration and resisting a police officer after being stopped by police in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road.  Podgorny was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. 15 in Waukegan.

Elias Miranda, Jr., 23, of North Chicago was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road.  Miranda was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. in Waukegan.
