Report of Suspicious People Leads to Burglary Arrest

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Claudius Fincher, 38, of Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1700 block of Clavey Road at 1:15 p.m. March 11. Fincher was released on a cash bond with a court date of April 9.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE / CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLE / THEFT

Andrew Abel, 21, of Waukegan, was arrested and charged with burglary to motor vehicle, criminal trespass to vehicle and theft under $500 after police responded to a report of suspicious individuals looking in cars in the 400 block of Vine Avenue on March 11 at 3:30 p.m. Abel was transported to bond court pending court date.

Estela Perez-Valencia, 27, of Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle, failure to properly secure a child in a child restraint and disobeying a stop sign after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of First Street on March 11 at 9:15 p.m. Perez-Valencia was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 23.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

David Orduno, 37, of Highwood, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked, uninsured motor vehicle and two headlights required after being stopped by police near the intersection of Half Day Road and Summit Avenue at 11 p.m. March 12. Orduno was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 9.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Amy Berry, 27, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle and two headlights required after being stopped by police near the intersection of Central Avenue and Fredrickson Place on March 13 at 10:30 p.m. Berry was released on a cash bond with a court date of April 23.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED / POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

Victoria Peebles, 25, of Gurnee, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and possession of cannabis after being stopped by police near the intersection of Applewood Court and Cottonwood Court on March 14 at 2 a.m. Peebles was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 9.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

Eric Tucker, 25, of Green Bay, WI, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked and failure to secure seatbelt after being stopped by police in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road at 10:15 p.m. March 14. Tucker was released on a cash bond with a court date of May 14.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Juan Roman, Jr., 22, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 12:15 a.m. March 15. Roman, Jr. was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 23.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Joost Berman, 47, of Highland Park, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and interference with the reporting of a domestic battery after police responded to a 911 hang up call in the 800 block of Burton Avenue at 10:30 p.m. March 16. Berman was transported to bond court at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan pending court date.
