Rolex Stolen at Basketball Court

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Police are investigating a report of criminal damage to property where unknown person(s) spray painted black symbols on a utility pole located at the southwest corner of Walker Avenue and Lauretta Place on March 11.

THEFT

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft that occurred on March between 9:20 and 11:00 p.m.. A green bezel 50th anniversary stainless steel Rolex Submariner wrist watch was taken from a pocket of an overcoat, which was left unattended in the basketball court at a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Police are investigating a delayed report of a residential burglary that occurred between March 10 and March 12 in the 500 block of Chicago Avenue. A side door was found standing slightly open. There were no visible signs of forced entry and it is unknown if the door was locked. Two computers and two jars of change were removed.

THEFT

Police are investigating a report of a theft where an unknown person took a dark purple Samsung Galaxy III left unattended on a filing cabinet March 14 at noon. The phone had a bright pink case that was in the shape of an old cassette player. The incident occurred in the 900 block of North Avenue.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Police are investigating a delayed report of a residential burglary where unknown person(s) gained entry through a kitchen window by removing the window sometime between March 9 and March 15 in the 700 block of Burchell Avenue. Jewelry boxes and dressers were disturbed, but it is unknown what if anything was taken.
