MONDAY March 10, 2014
Speeding While License Revoked
Timothy Jackson, 34, of Waukegan, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked, speeding 35mph or greater over the limit, open transportation of alcohol and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 2800 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park around 2:10 a.m. Jackson was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of March 26 in Park City.

SUNDAY, MARCH 9
Street Racing
Two men were arrested for allegedly drag racing through the streets of Highland Park after police responded to a two-car accident in the 500 block of the Edens Expressway. Alex Marroquin, 21, of Park City, was charged with street racing, no valid drivers license, improper lane usage and an uninsured motor vehicle. Angel Duran-Gonzalez, of Waukegan, was charged with street racing and no valid drivers license. The report did not indicate who won the race. Both men were released on I-bonds and have a court appearance on April 9 in Park City.

‘No Lights’
Police arrested and charged Jose-Garcia-Serrano, 39, of Vernon Hills, with driving while license suspended, two headlights required and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road, Garcia-Serrano was released on a personal recognizance bond and has a court appearance in Park City on April 9.
Speeding 35 mph or Greater
Ward Weibel, 60, of Evanston was arrested and charged with speeding 35mph or greater over the limit and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 1300 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park around 11:05 a.m. Weibel was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 9 in Park City.
SATURDAY, MARCH 8
Cited for Speeding
David Gelfand, 58, of Glencoe, was arrested and charged with speeding 35mph or greater over the limit after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road around 9:45 a.m. Gelfand was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 9 in Park City.
