Speeding Driver Arrested for DUI
The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
DUI
Jeffrey Dunn, 31, of Libertyville, was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 27 in Waukegan.

Irene Hernandez, 33, of Melrose Park was arrested Friday and charged with driving while license suspended and use of a wireless device while driving after being stopped by police in the 1000 block of Ridge Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 25 in Park City.

Police are investigating a reported theft of cash stolen from a locker. The cash was in an envelope and placed in the locked locker around noon Sept. 3. At approximately 5 p.m. the locker was still locked but the envelope with cash was found missing. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Park Avenue West.
