Speeding Driver Gets Arrested for More

Sale of Alcohol to Minor 

Liliana Arizmendi, 34, of Waukegan was cited administratively Oct. 4for sale of alcohol to minor and lack of responsible server (BASSET) certification after police conducted compliance checks on a business in the 0-100 block of St. Johns Avenue. Arizmendi is expected in administrative court at City Hall on Nov. 21, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Theft 

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. Unknown person(s) stole a used plastic Radio Flyer brand child’s wagon from a learning center in the 1600 block of McGovern Avenue Sept. 30, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Driver’s License Infractions and More 

Victor Padilla, 21, of Waukegan arrested Sunday and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports.  Padilla was released on a personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 23 in Park City.
