Suspicious Activity Leads to Drug Arrest

Possession of Cannabis
Vito D’Amore, 20, of Highland Park was arrested Dec. 11 and charged with possession of cannabis after police investigating another incident observed D’Amore parked in a vehicle in the 0-100 block of St. Johns Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Jan. 6 in Waukegan.
Theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that between April 1 and Nov. 24 unknown subject(s) removed a large yellow in color, metal constructed, hydraulic, motorized, tailgate mounting salt spreader from an outside storage area in the 1200 block of Park Avenue West, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Robert Kos, 34, of Northbrook was arrested Dec. 14 and charged with driving while license suspended and suspended registration for no insurance after being stopped by police near the intersection of Central Avenue and Green Bay Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Jan. 11 in Park City.
