Thief Snatches Wallet, Uses Credit Cards
The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Theft
Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that while shopping in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road at approximately 6:10 p.m. Dec. 2 a wallet was taken from a purse. The wallet contained multiple credit cards, driver’s license, insurance cards and various gift cards. The credit cards were later found to have been fraudulently used, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Tiara Mitchell, 24, of Racine, WI, was arrested Friday and charged with driving while license suspended after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park, according to Highland Park Police reports. She is expected to appear in Lake County Court Jan. 22 in Park City.
Angela Izquierdo, 27, of North Chicago was arrested Friday and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration after being stopped by police in the 2500 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan. 8 in Park City.
