Three Highland Park Teens Cited for Drinking

Fugitive from justice

Frank John, 39, of the 7100 block of Rosewood Avenue, Temple City, Calif., was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer after police responded to a report of a subject wanted in California who was staying in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road, Highland Park. John was transported to bond court at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Ill. pending court date.

Criminal damage to property

Police are investigating a delayed report of criminal damage to property. It was reported that graffiti in purple spray paint was located on the west side of the pedestrian overpass near the intersection of Old Deerfield Road and Old Skokie Road.

Police are investigating a delayed report of criminal damage to property. It was reported that graffiti was located west of the mural under the Vine Avenue overpass. The graffiti was approximately 3' by 3' painted in red spray paint.

Theft over $500

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that black iPad 2 was taken from a backpack left unattended in the library located in the 400 block of Laurel Avenue, Highland Park sometime between 3:50 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Feb. 21. 

Driving under the influence

Wesley Robinson, 52, of the 1600 block of North Long, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in 1500 block of Clavey Road, Highland Park.  Robinson was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of April 12, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois. 

Consumption of alcohol by minor

Samantha Eichner, 18, of the 1700 block of Cavell Avenue, Highland Park, Amanda Karney, 18, of the 1500 block of Sheridan Road, Highland Park and Rae Nathan, 18, 600 block of Onwentsia Avenue, Highland Park were cited administratively for consumption of alcohol by minor after police responded to a report of an underage drinking party in the 1000 block of Court Avenue, Highland Park. All 3 individuals are expected in administrative court at City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park on April 18, 2013.
