Two Handguns Stolen from Highland Park Home

Two handguns were stolen from a Highland Park home sometime between mid-January to early March, according to the Highland Park Police Department.

Two handguns were stolen from a Highland Park home sometime between mid-January to early March, according to the Highland Park Police Department.

When the homeowner returned from a trip out of the country, a note was found in the mailbox from an anonymous witness indicating that on Feb. 28, two men were observed on the property and that they may have been attempting to break into the home.

The homeowner discovered the home had been entered and property, including two handguns were taken.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of Walker Avenue, Highland Park, according to police.
