Wallet, More Stolen From Unlocked Car Downtown

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

Police are investigating a report of a theft. An unknown person entered an unlocked Pontiac Grand Am parked on the street and took cd's and a brown leather wallet containing two identifications.  The incident occurred between 8 p.m. Nov. 4 and 7 a.m. Nov. 5. The incident occurred in the 2500 block of Green Bay Road, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Criminal Damage to Property

Police are investigating a delayed report of a criminal damage to property. An unknown person(s) attempted to pry the east side doors of the former Restoration Hardware which is now vacant.  No entry was made. The damage occurred between Nov. and Nov. 5.The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was transported to bond court in Waukegan.

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. An unknown person(s) stole a Martha Stewart patio umbrella which was connected to a patio table in a backyard in the 1900 block of Linden Avenue sometime between 5 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.

Driver’s License Infractions and More

Krishaun Abraham, 30, of Waukegan was arrested Sunday and charged with driving while license suspended, no valid registration, uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Dec. 18 in Waukegan.
