Walnut Flooring, Diamond Earrings Stolen

A couple dozen razors were also stolen from a store.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

Benjamin Primer, 20, of Highland Park was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after police responded to a report of suspicious activity at a vacant residence in the 300 block of Oakland Drive at 11 p.m. May 18. Primer was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 11.

Two other involved subjects, both 20 year-olds from Highland Park, were cited. One was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and the other for possession of cannabis

THEFT

Someone stole a black iPhone 4S from an unlocked vehicle, which was parked in the 1800 block of First Street.

Approximately 800 square feet of 4-inch walnut flooring went missing from a work site in the 100 block of Hazel Avenue sometime between April 1 and May 1.

A 3-carat diamond earring set in a 3-prong white gold setting was stolen from the 800 block of Laurel Avenue.

Sometime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 15, a 2x2 yellow circular sign for Highland Park Softball in front of a residence in the 400 block of Sheridan Road was stolen.

The front license plate on a black Honda SUV was stolen while parked in a parking lot in the 1600 block of Green Bay Road between May 14 and 17.

RETAIL THEFT

Two unknown subjects entered a business in the 600 block of Elm Place on May 16 at 8 p.m. and removed 28 Gillette razors from a shelf and left the store without paying.
