Wheelbarrow and Water Pump Device Stolen from Highland Park Homes

A Tesla was also keyed while parked on Central Ave.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

THEFT

Police are investigating the theft of a men's Bedat stainless steel watch taken from a locked locker at a business in the 700 block of Central Avenue on March 31 between 1:20 and 4 p.m.

A suspicious male subject was seen April 2 walking from a backyard with a wheelbarrow with other unknown items inside it. The subject then put the wheelbarrow and its contents inside the back of a truck and drove away. The wheelbarrow and contents were reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Rambler Lane.

Cash was taken from a wallet secured in locker with a lock between 4 and 5 p.m. on April 2 at a business in the 700 block of Central Avenue.

Sometime between Feb. 29 and April 1, someone removed a water pump device from a water line located just outside the front door of a residence in the 400 block of Lakeside Manor Road.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Sometime between 7:45 and 9:55 a.m. on April 4, someone keyed the driver’s side front door of a maroon 2012 Tesla while it was parked in a parking garage located in the 700 block of Central Avenue. The scratch was approximately 14 inches in length and was down to the primer.
