Wheeling Man Arrested for Sexual Abuse in Highland Park

Driving under the influence

May 27: Matthew Smith (20) of the 2100 block of Park Lane, Highland Park was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, consumption of alcohol by a minor and resisting arrest after being stopped by police in the 600 block of Elm Place, Highland Park. Smith was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 21, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

May 30: Roberto Jimenez (24) of the 3300 block of West Pensacola, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, no valid drivers license and texting while driving after Jimenez struck a parked car in the 1900 block of First Street, Highland Park. Jimenez was released on a cash bond with a court date of June 28, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

May 31: Abraham Potts (25) of the 5200 block of West Ohio Street, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, uninsured motor vehicle and no drivers license on person after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of First Street, Highland Park. Potts was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 21, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

June 1: Everardo Feliciano (34) of the 5200 block of West Altgeld, Chicago was arrested and charged with Driving under the influence, Improper Lane Usage, Driving While Revoked for DUI, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, and Aggravated DUI No Valid Drivers License after police responded to a driving complaint in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Feliciano was transported to bond court at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois pending court date.

June 2: Matthew Shipley (27) of the 200 block of Prairie Avenue, Highwood was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and only one red taillight illuminated after police responded to a driving complaint in the 2100 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Shipley was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of July 5, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Retail theft

May 27: Holden Amory (19) of the 500 block of Sheridan Road, Lake Forest was arrested and charged with retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor after police responded to a report of a subject shoplifting 3 bottles of liquor from a business in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley, Highland Park. Amory was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 12, 2013 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City, Illinois.

Battery

May 30: Mariam Joie (42) of the 0-100 block of Heck Street, Highland Park was arrested and charged with battery after police responded to a delayed report of a dispute in the 0-100 block of Heck Street, Highland Park. Joie was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of July 24, 2013 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City, Illinois.

Criminal sexual abuse

May 28: John Cenobio (20) of the 200 block of East Dennis Road, Wheeling was arrested and charged with criminal sexual abuse after police were called for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked with two occupants in the 1800 block of Sheahen Court, Highland Park. Cenobio was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 10, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Disorderly conduct

May 29: William Hebson (21) of the 3300 block of University Avenue, Highland Park was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after a fare dispute, reportedly approaching a taxi driver in a threatening manner and making disparaging remarks in the 400 block of Sheridan Road, Highland Park. Hebson was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 12, 2013 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City, Illinois.
