Meet the Mayoral Candidates Tonight at Ravinia Metra Station

Or watch the candidates in all city races on Channel 19 on Tuesday and Thursday.

Mayoral candidates and will discuss their positions on neighborhood and city-wide issues Tuesday at an hourlong forum at Ravinia Metra Station.

The event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., is being organized by the Ravinia Neighbors Association (RNA).

"People in Highland Park tend to be very community-minded," said RNA Vice President Eve Tarm. "People take it seriously, so it's important for them to see how the candidates react to some of the issues that are important to people."

The forum will be the fourth and, most likely, final opportunity for voters to interact with both candidates. Past events included an informal hosted by the League of Women Voters (LWV) in December, a forum for all city-wide candidates hosted by the Men's Club in February and the League's second, formal held earlier this month.

The League's candidate forum, which included discussions between the and candidates as well as the candidates for and , was filmed by Patch and will be aired on Channel 19 on Tuesday and Thursday from noon till 4 p.m.

Seating is limited at Tuesday's forum at the Metra Station in Ravinia, so bring a chair if you're planning on attending.
