Ways to promote safety, no more Mr. Nice Guy

1.  High traffic enforcement zones around schools. More police are needed to patrol school perimeters where each and every minor traffic offense, like gliding thru a stop sign, becomes a reason to stop a vehicle. Intelligent and savvy police officers would stop, question and search those drivers who appear to be unusual. Call it profiling, I don't care.
2.  Enact Gun Busters. Citizens and companies would fund a program similar to Crime Busters where cash rewards would be paid to citizens who snitch to the police on unregistered gun owners.  Each confiscated illegal gun would fetch $ 1000.00.  Call it expensive, I don't care.
 3.  Technology must be developed to sense oils used in guns and also chemicals emitted by ammunition. This technology could be similar to a portable breath test analyzer and would analyze a car's interior for example. If the test showed a positive result, this would lead to a complete search.  Call it a violation of the 2nd, 4th and 14th Amendments, I don't care. The Constitution was created to protect criminals, not children in schools.
4. Anyone on school property must be willing to submit to a complete stop, search and/or frisk.  The White House is a perfect example of how a building could be secured, all we need to do is mimic those methods. Are our schools any less important than the White House?
5. We should hire Israeli security personnel to train our police and school personnel. Israel has figured out security a long time ago because they fight fire with fire.
6. It's obvious the Constitution died when the
NSA was created.  Why pretend we live in a democracy, we don't when each and every phone and email is now being stored and listened to.  Let's protect our kids and teachers from gun violence.
