Chicago Sculpture Artist Richard Hunt Unveils New Works at Ravinia Festival

On June 6, 2012, guests joined for the unveiling of two new works by renowned Chicago sculpture artist and Ravinia Life Trustee Richard Hunt. "Beyond the Frame" is located in Ravinia's Park View restaurant and was dedicated in honor of Joan S. and Stanley M. Freehling. The second work is a bench located outside of the Freehling Room in the John D. Harza Building, and is called "Joan's Bench." The bench is dedicated in memory of Joan S. Freehling, a gift by Stanley M. Freehling. These works of art join a collection throughout Ravinia's park by artists such as Sorel Etrog, Albin Polasek, Christina Iglesias and Fernando Botero.
