HPHS National Merit Finalists Announced

The following is from District 113:

District 113 proudly acknowledges the academic talent of their high school seniors who were named National Merit Finalists in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The National Merit Scholarship Program honors individual students who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies. 

These students have the opportunity to compete for National Merit Scholarships, worth millions of dollars. Scholarships offered are underwritten by approximately 500 business organizations and higher education institutions that share National Merit Scholarship Corporation’s goal of honoring the nation’s scholastic champions and encouraging the pursuit of academic excellence.

Highland Park High School’s 2014 National Merit Finalists include:  Ari Bell, Jacob Burroughs, Samuel Davidson, David Gordon, Taylor Sheneman, Spencer Simon, and Suzanne Warshell.
