Pizza Bowl To Determine Best Highland Park, Deerfield Pizza

Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools will be the winners in the second annual District 113 Foundation Pizza Bowl.

Who make the best pizza in Deerfield and Highland Park?

That is a debate which will arose passions just like the annual football game between the Giants and Warriors for the Shields Trophy but with one big difference. Both schools win.

The winner will be determined in the second annual Pizza Bowl from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 26 at Highland Park High School and no matter which pizzeria is voted best in the two communities, students at both Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools will walk away on top.

Current participants include Dominos, Il Forno (Highland Park), Il Forno (Deerfield), Lou Malnati’s, NY Slices, and Viccino’s, according to a news release from Township High School District 113. Viccino’s won last year.
