Cheer On Jason Brown at Centennial Party Friday

Highland Park's favorite Olympian will be competing in Sochi and the rink where it all started is hosting a free party for anyone who wants to watch the skating live.

Jason Brown has become a media darling due to his unabashed exuberance at being at the Olympics and his crowd-pleasing Riverdance routine. But to many in Highland Park, he'll always be the boy who whirled and leapt across the Centennial Ice Arena in town.
Centennial is hosting a free viewing party Friday morning to watch Brown compete live from Sochi. The rink will be open and free, there will be a big-screen TV and refreshments while you watch.

The Olympics are on? *yawn* haven't watched it once. Who's paying for this free party? What's it costing the taxpayers?

Dave Greenberg's posts? *Yawn*, nothing of value here.
