FUNTASTIC FAMILY FAIR FEATURES 50 INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES

The fair, aimed at pre-schoolers through 6th graders, is for parents and their kids to learn and play together. It features over 50 hands-on interactive exhibitors and about healthy choices, fitness, and arts and expression. There is ongoing entertainment. The Fair provides an opportunity for parents and children to experience and learn about wellness products and services, with free screenings and free samples. Kids and parents are able to interact with all of their senses with the vendors and entertainment. Entertainers include John Meanser Magic Show, Nature's Creatures, Rich Maisel's Singing Encyclopedia, hula hooping, balloon twisting, hair braiding and face painting.

Also included are kid exhibitors who Sell & Show hand crafted items such as artwork, jewelry, tie dye, or friendship bracelets. Children may keep the money they earn or perhaps consider giving it to a charity. Nancy Grace Marder, executive director of Infinity, says “having the kids show and sell is a wonderful aspect of the fair. There is so much value in kids expressing their creativity by selling things they’ve made from their heart. It also gives them a first hand opportunity to run a mini-business or raise awareness like the Reach for Change Elm Place school project paper doll project for Saving the Children of Darfur.
